The importance of China on the global economic stage cannot be ignored, and its unique legal and tax systems are of great inters to international scholars and business people alike. China’s tax system is acquiring western features while remaining entrenched in its rich cultural and historical roots. This makes for interesting study, analysis and comparison as its laws are becoming more accessible. The Journal of Chinese Tax & Policy focuses on the policy, administrative and compliance aspects of the Chinese tax system. It also welcomes comparative studies between China and other countries. The Journal is an internationally peerreviewed scholarly publication.

Organizational Economics Proceedings
Organizations play a critical role in any economy, undertaking numerous activities from production, to solving problems and generating new ideas and innovations. The Organizational Economics Workshop, held at The University of Sydney and jointly organised by The University of Sydney and The Australian National University, examines a broad range of economic issues relating to organizations, including: incentive contracts with external and internal parties and managerial remuneration; the organization of production, the use of labour and wage structures; the design of hierarchies; the allocation of decision making protocols within organizations; and the optimal allocation of ownership and alternative ownership structures. The Workshop started in 2007. The Workshop is a place for the presentation of both theoretical and empirical research into organizations. The Organizational Economics Proceedings is a refereed journal of papers presented at the Workshop. The journal aims to be a forum the quick dissemination of new insights into the internal workings of organizations. Consequently, the Organizational Economics Proceedings also welcomes submissions of original research into organizations from researchers throughout the year. The journal does not require authors to forgo their copyright, so articles published in the Organizational Economics Proceedings can also be submitted and published in other journals.

The Central European Review of Economics and Management
The Central European Review of Economics and Management (CEREM, formerly WSB Research Journal) focuses on state-of-the-art empirical and theoretical studies in the field of economics and management. It aims to create a platform for exchange of knowledge and ideas between research, business, governmental and other actors. Besides more traditional scientific papers, the journal welcomes conceptual papers, opinion papers and policy discussions from academic, corporate, governmental and civil society representatives. An important aim of CEREM is to stimulate open-minded discussion of new ideas, new applications of old ideas as well as development of interdisciplinary approaches to current challenges in economics and management. This is of particular importance in the substantial changes that have taken place and are expected to take place in the world. Topical economics and management focus areas are interdisciplinary, non-unified and on the move by nature. They include, but are not limited to issues regarding: sustainable development, emerging economies, European strategies, value chains, financial intermediation and managerial designs. The principle of double-blind peer review applies. Contributions should be original and previously unpublished. Articles submitted to CEREM should not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Labour, Employment and Work in New Zealand
Since the original conference held in 1984 the aim of the LEW conferences held in Wellington every second year remains: ‘ to foster communication between scholars and policy makers on what continues to be this country’s most fundamental social and economic issue – our ability to provide adequate paid work for those seeking employment.’ Since their founding the LEW conferences have been a joint initiative shared by the human geographers in School of Geography, Environment and Earth Sciences and the Industrial Relations Centre (now the Centre for Labour, Employment and Work, CLEW), Victoria University of Wellington. This Labour, Employment and Work in New Zealand site contains links to copies of all the proceedings published to date. Although the conferences have been run every second year since 1984, the proceedings have only been published from the first conference in 1984 and then from every conference since 1992 (LEW5). The 2010 proceedings (LEW14) was the last to be published in hard copy. As of 2012 (LEW15) all proceedings will be published directly to this site. The 16th LEW conference is being held November 27 and 28th at Rutherford House in Wellington.
