Description |
Distributional issues have increasingly asserted themselves as a major concern of economic analysis. Since production structure is believed to be a very important element to affect income distribution, technology and its impact on employment creation have also gradually gained importance as a policy instrument. The purpose of this paper is to examine the relationship between production structure and income distribution as well as to evaluate the implications of a given technological choice or output-mix to the income received by different socio-economic groups in Brazil.
