Description |
Drawing on ethnographic research based in Gitxaała, British Columbia during 2007, I focus on the theory and practice of consultation undertaken for development in British Columbia. I specifically address the local impact of the consultative process on the Indigenous community, and relate this to larger themes of capitalism and colonialist expansion.
