Description The current market requires good experts who not only know the state language well, but also are fluent in foreign languages. Language knowledge basically depends upon a person’s consciousness and his/her schooling or higher education. There is no doubt that students’ knowledge of a subject language is greatly influenced by the language of their teachers, particularly by the teachers who have great influence on students, and by the language of manuals and other literature recommended for the students. The aim of this work is to investigate the language of three management publications used for subject studies. For this purpose the language was selected at random from all the publications. The following aspects of subject language have been considered: logical way of reasoning, syntax constructions, vocabulary, especially the right use of the terms, features of word derivation, and the usage of grammatical forms. The following conclusions have been drawn. There are a lot of different language mistakes within the analysed publications: vocabulary, word derivation, the usage of grammatical forms and syntax constructions, even punctuation and spelling, which shows that the texts have not been edited. Moreover, English rather than Lithuanian terms have often been used. Such publications cannot be recommended for students as basic subject literature due to its negligible attitude towards the subject and state language.
Straipsnyje nagrinėjama viešojo administravimo studijų procese naudojamų vadybos leidinių kalba sintaksinių konstrukcijų vartojimo, žodyno, ypač terminų taisyklingumo, žodžių darybos, gramatinių formų vartojimo aspektais. Teigiama, kad aptartuose leidiniuose rasta labai daug įvairiausių kalbos klaidų – pradedant sintaksinių konstrukcijų vartojimo pažeidimais ir baigiant paprasčiausiomis skyrybos ir rašybos klaidomis. Tokia prasta kalba parašytų leidinių jokiu būdu negalima rekomenduoti studentams kaip pagrindinės studijuotinos literatūros, nes tai formuos jų atmestinį požiūrį ne tik į savo profesijos (specialybės)kalbą, ne tik į valstybinę lietuvių kalbą, bet ir į patį profesinį pasirengimą. Mokomųjų leidinių kalba privalo rūpintis ne tik autoriai ir redaktoriai, bet taip pat leidyklos. Specialybės dalykus, bendrojo lavinimo dalykus dėstančių dėstytojų ir specialybės kalbos dėstytojų lituanistų pareiga bendromis jėgomis siekti, kad studentai mokytųsi iš taisyklinga kalba parašytų knygų, kad vartotų taisyklingus terminus, kad auditorijose skambėtų norminė lietuvių klaba.
