Description This empirical study investigates the role of trade liberalization on economic growth and employment of developing country in case of India. Since the era of liberalization there has occur some changing in Indian economy. The main aim of this study to investigate the relationship of trade liberalization, growth and employment, secondly the impact of liberalization on economic growth .There are used time series data from 1980 to 2012 and applied ordinary least square technique  for estimation.  There found positive impact of trade liberalization and significant impact of employment on growth. The conclusion of the study suggested the effective role of liberalization and employment, there are also suggested the need of  suitable polices to improve economic growth.
