Description This study aims to identify the organizational structure relation and empowerment of employees in Gas Company of west Azerbaijan, and tries to compare the two companies of gas and electricity in an organizational structure and employees' empowerment point of view. Components of empowerment in this study are; participation in decision-making, mandate; organizational learning and components of organizational structure are officials, complexity and organizational focus. Method of research is descriptive – survey with an applied aim. Sample of research by using Morgan table in Gas Company was selected 55 and 111 people for Electricity Company. Statistical methods of research are Pearson Correlation Coefficient, Kolmogorov– Smirnov, t and Leven test. Results showed that there is significant negative correlation between organizational structure and employee's empowerment in Gas Company. Comparing organizational structure and empowerment in two companies showed that Electricity Company is in higher level than Gas Company considering the officials and complexity but are in the same level in focus variable. Also it was identified that both companies are the same considering the empowerment.
