Description |
Business plan is an essential requirement for the purpose of establishing a new business enterprise. This paper presents a hypothetical business plan for setting up a new commercial bank in Bangladesh. The plan narrated for this purpose will encompass marketing, human resource & financial planning for the new banking company along with an analysis on the existing macro-environment, particularly the banking industry & the market. Data collected from 20 commercial banks operating in Bangladesh has contributed in the shaping of the 3 tier planning approach. It indicates that the plan is based on assumptions which have been framed by considering data related to financial, marketing & human resource operations of some existing commercial banks in Bangladesh.
