The 82 years old world classic novelist gave up ghost on 21 March 2013; stirred who up the world-all corners of the globe on the news his passing away to the great beyond.As the best rock of African Nigerian education, we will see in this essay his life, his being a colossus and a legend of learning and writing; and his motivational truism of life. We shall then conclude with Chinua Achebe’s expected challenges and expectation for the advancement of Nigerian-African education and excellence.
