Description       This paper analyses the different prices that tourist spay in the lodgement sector of sun and beach segment, using the example of some towns in Costa Brava. On one hand, differences between booking directly to the hotel or booking through tour operator are analysed. On the other hand, using tour operators’ brochures seasonality of prices is analysed, besides the differences between price regimes (full board, half board, bed & breakfast) and the different discounts and supplements that are applied.
      El presente artículo analiza los diferentes precios que pagan los turistas en el sector hotelero de zonas vacacionales, tomándose como referencia algunas poblaciones de la Costa Brava. De un lado se compara las diferencias entre contratar directamente con el hotel o a través de operador turístico. De otro, a través de los catálogos de los operadores turísticos, se comparan las diferencias de precios a lo largo de la temporada turística, las diferencias según el régimen alimenticio y los diferentes descuentos y suplementos que se aplican.
