This paper uses technical efficiency to measure the performance impact of internal corporate governance mechanisms. Specifically, it analyzes how the size, leadership, and composition of the board of directors together with employee engagement can be structured to enhance a firm’s efficiency and performance. The study utilizes a balanced and empirical survey, though trying to identify the role of employee in efficiency increscent. Data were collected from 22 companies that operate in the territory of Kosovo. Through the data and findings, we identified the importance of employee engagement and their role in different operative and tactical aspects.
