As the integration process has received relatively little notice either in academic or in commercial publications, this review attempts to fill that gap by taking a brief look at the integration project that can only be described as substantial. To do this, the paper reviews some key economic figures, the roadmap of the integration, and some of the infrastructure projects related to the integration. Furthermore, it provides some pointers for investors.Â
