Prior research has shown the importance oftransformational leadership. It is related to a variety ofemployees’ attitudes and behavior includingsupervisory trust and job performance. However,much of this research has not examined individualaspects of transformational leadership behavior. Thisstudy involving a sample of 369 salespeople found thatsome of the four transformational leadership behaviorsare related to supervisory trust and performance.Theoretical and managerial implications are discussed.
