Description Employment of people with disabilities is animportant aspect in terms of social involvement because nonactiveresidents inhibit economic development. Estonia performsaverage in comparing ratio of no-active people (includingdisabled workforce) across EU countries. The situation can beimproved when motivation to enter job market is increasedeither eliminating barriers or applying active employment policymeasures. In this regard Estonia has not used its full potential,since intensity of measures taken is relatively modest. However,some good alternatives have emerged among third sectororganizations. The main risk groups are women, young people,disabled people and elderly. In this paper we concentrate on theproblems of unemployment among disabled people and the aim isto explore alternative work possibilities for disable people. Wesearch for different solutions and analyze cases what has beenused in Estonia.
