Description |
In analyzing the results we found that the largest number of patients in the control group had waist and hip ratio (WHR) values in the range of 0.75-0.8 or 40.09% of all. Second in the same group are women with a WHR of 0.8-0.85 (29.70%) who can be identified as high-risk according to the current World Health Organization (WHO) criteria. Third are women with WHR above 0.9 (10.89%).Analyzing the results in women with Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), we found that the highest number of them had values of the studied indicator between 0.85-0.9 or a total of 40.39% of all, who can be defined as high risk according to WHO. The second largest group is that of women with WHR above 0.8-0.85 (30.04%). Third is the group of women with WHR values above 0.9 (18.22%) who are considered to be at the highest risk of developing cardiovascular and metabolic complications.
