Description ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui dampak pariwisata terhadap solidaritas sosial masyarakat adat di Ubud. Analisis sosiologi diaplikasikan pada dua tipe masyarakat adat: Subak Padangtegal dan Desa Adat Junjungan. Enam puluh responden dipilih secara purposive untuk menilai dampak pariwisata terhadap enam variable solidaritas sosial melalui depth-interview dipadukan dengan participant-observation, yaitu: (1) rasa saling memiliki atau simpati sebagai sebuah komunitas, (2) kemauan dan kesediaan untuk berkorban kepada anggota komunitasnya, (3) kekhawatiran, kecemasan, dan tekanan dalam komunitas, (4) tanggung jawab moral, (5) persahabatan dan persaudaraan dalam komunitas, dan (6) keramahtamahan, tatakrama dalam komunitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di secara umum baik di Subak Padangtegal dan Desa Adat Junjungan pariwisata berdampak positif terhadap solidaritas sosial dengan pengecualian dampak negatif pada variable tekanan dalam komunitas dan pada Subak Padangtegal ditemukan pada variabel tanggung jawab moral. Kata Kunci: Dampak Pariwisata, Solidaritas Sosial, Masyarakat Adat, Subak, Desa Adat, Bali. ABSTRACT The aim of this research is to examine tourism impact on social solidarity in Ubud customary communities. Sociological analysis is grounded on two types of customary communities: Subak Padangtegal and Desa Adat Junjungan. Sixty respondents were chosen to assess six social solidarity variables through depth-interview combined with participant observation methods as follows: (1) feelings of belonging together or sympathy as a community, (2) feelings of altruism to community members, (3) community distress, (4) moral obligation, (5) friendship, and (6) politeness and courtesy of people in the village. Research finding shows that, in general, both in Subak Padangtegal and Desa Adat Junjungan, tourism influenced social solidarity in positive ways with some exceptions were found on community distress variable and in Subak Padangtegal was also on moral obligation variable.
