This paper sketches an approach to the concept of Tourism Policy, which is the main tool of the Tourism Administration. We adress to B. A. in Tourism students, which have to endure the still existing difficulties to find the specific bibliography they will need during their studies. Our aim is, therefore, to make more accessible to these students the concept of Tourism Policy. The topic is developped gradually: Starting from its Economic Policy origins, we move forward step by step, to finally analyze the various facts, attitudes and points of view confluent in what is presently termed Tourism Policy. We intend to provide a basic understanding of the matter. For a deeper knowledge, readers should refer to the bibliography listed in the paper. En estas páginas se efectúa una aproximación al concepto de política turística, como herramienta básica de la organización administrativa pública del turismo. El artículo esta dirigido a los estudiantes de la Diplomatura de Turismo, quienes experimentan en primera persona las dificultades que subsisten todavía para localizar bibliografía específica de lo que constituye su opción universitaria. Con esa premisa de partida se ha planteado este trabajo, cuyo objetivo es acercar a los alumnos de Turismo el concepto de política turística. Temática de probado interés que se introduce de forma escalonada, arrancando desde sus orígenes en la política económica, para llegar ulteriormente a los matices que confluyen en lo que se entiende hoy por política del turismo. Se ha pretendido proporcionar, pues, unos conocimientos básicos, a partir de las referencias bibliográficas empleadas en este trabajo, dejando su posible ampliación en manos del lector interesado por este ámbito de investigación. |
