The globalization transforms the world scenario; its influences increase in our daily life. The position of the tourist flows in Spain only understands each other well from that general structure. Now, fundamentally in their new orientations, in the territorial of the European Union. In front of the traditional tourist system every time it charges more significance the residential tourism. The Region of Murcia that up to now had participated with scarce success in it, it has begun an alive expansion process by means of these new forms. They are different the motivations that propitiate such to become. Their spectacular growth reaches to good number of its municipalities. The announced projects acquire a considerable volume. Such transformations bear numerous consequences of different nature. It would be may be wiser to reduce their rhythm of foreseen growth, betting more for the quality that to increase their quantity. It seems legitimate to take advantage of the existent favorable conditions, but he doesn’t interest to make it to any price; more than anything, for the limitations that it bears this model and their environmental consequences.
La globalización transforma el escenario mundial; su influencia se acrecienta en nuestra vida cotidiana. El planteamiento de los flujos turísticos en España sólo se entiende bien desde esa estructura general. Ahora, fundamentalmente en sus nuevas orientaciones, en el marco territorial de la Unión Europea. Frente al sistema turístico tradicional cada vez cobra más significación el turismo residencial. La Región de Murcia, que hasta el presente había participado con escaso éxito en ello, ha iniciado un vivo proceso de expansión mediante estas nuevas formas. Son diferentes las motivaciones que propician tal devenir. Su espectacular crecimiento alcanza a buen número de sus municipios. Los proyectos anunciados adquieren un considerable volumen. Tales transformaciones conllevan numerosas consecuencias de diferente naturaleza. Acaso sería más prudente reducir su ritmo de crecimiento previsto, apostando más por la calidad que por incrementar su cantidad. Parece legítimo aprovechar las condiciones favorables existentes, pero no interesa hacerlo a cualquier precio; más que nada, por las limitaciones que conlleva este modelo y sus consecuencias medioambientales. |
