Description |
When centuries of land dispossession is followed by a process of reparation and compensation there is bound to be a plethora of ideas of what is a just and equitable solution. How we approach the land question has as much to do with our history as it does with the present. Jordan counsels us to be prudent and to take into account how land reform was undertaken in other countries. He also says there is a need to strike a balance between justice and economic realities as we wade through this emotive and potentially divisive issue.
