บทคัดย่อ การศึกษาวิจัยนี้เป็นการศึกษาชุมชนเพื่อประยุกต์ใช้สุนทรียสาธก (AI: Appreciative Inquiry) ในการหาแก่นแห่งความสำเร็จ (positive core) ของกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ปกากะญอ ชุมชนบ้านแม่คองซ้ายที่ได้รับรางวัลลูกโลกสีเขียว “สิปปนนท์ เกตุทัต 5 ปี แห่งความยั่งยืน” จากบริษัท ปตท. จำกัด (มหาชน) และนำเสนอเป็นแบบจำลองแนวคิดการพัฒนาชุมชนที่ยั่งยืน งานวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพที่เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลในเชิงลึกด้วยการ ศึกษาเชิงชาติพันธุ์วรรณนาเพื่อค้นหาปัจจัยเชิงบวกที่สนับสนุนให้ชุมชนประสบ ความสำเร็จ โดยเลือกผู้มีส่วนร่วมในการวิจัยแบบเจาะจงด้วยวิธีการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบบอล หิมะ ผู้มีส่วนร่วมในการวิจัยนี้มีทั้งหมด 7 ท่าน ผลการวิจัยจากการประยุกต์ใช้สุนทรียสาธกด้วยการค้นหาสิ่งที่ดีที่สุดของประสบการณ์ด้านบวก ทำให้ทราบว่า กิจกรรม “การทำแนวกันไฟ” ได้ส่งผ่านเรื่องราวความสำเร็จของชุมชน และทำให้พบแก่นแห่งความสำเร็จว่าเกิดจากผู้นำชุมชนของกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ปกากะญอที่ดำรงบทบาทเป็นนักประสาน หรือผู้เชื่อมโยง (Connector) ผู้นำมีคุณลักษณะส่วนบุคคลและคุณลักษณะในการทำงาน ประกอบกับปัจจัยบริบทภูมิสังคม (Geosocial) ของชุมชนที่สนับสนุนการพัฒนาชุมชนจนประสบความสำเร็จ ได้แก่ 1) จุดเปลี่ยนของชุมชนที่เป็นจุดแข็งและเป็นโอกาสของชุมชน 2) การสื่อสารที่มีประสิทธิภาพของชุมชน 3) อัตลักษณ์ทางชาติพันธุ์ 4) การเข้าร่วมกับเครือข่าย 5) การพัฒนาภาวะผู้นำ 6) การพัฒนาชุมชน และ 7) วิสัยทัศน์การมุ่งสู่ความเป็นชุมชนพึ่งตนเองและมีการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน ผลการวิจัยนี้นำสู่การประยุกต์ใช้แนวคิด Lewin's Change Model ร่วมกับแนวคิดสุนทรียสาธก (AI) และใช้กระบวนการด้วยการวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการแบบมีส่วนร่วมกับชุมชน (PAR: Participatory Action Research) ผู้ วิจัยนำเสนอผลเป็นแบบจำลองแนวคิดการพัฒนาชุมชนด้วยการวางแผนพัฒนากระบวนการ สืบทอดตำแหน่งผู้นำที่พึงประสงค์ของชุมชนจากการสรรค์สร้างอย่างมีส่วนร่วม ของสมาชิกในชุมชน และนำไปปฏิบัติโดยชุมชนอย่างยั่งยืนคำสำคัญ: ชาติพันธุ์วรรณนา; สุนทรียสาธก; ชาติพันธุ์; การพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน; การสืบทอดตำแหน่ง ABSTRACT The purpose of this paper was to apply appreciative inquiry (AI) to discover a positive core of Ban Mae Kong Zai, a Karen’s ethnic community that received “Natural Preserving Prototype Community Award” from PTT Public Company Limited, in order to develop a Sustainable Community Development Conceptual Model. Qualitative research through ethnography based on a case study of Ban Mae Kong Zai communiy was used. Seven participants were selected using snowball sampling method. To enhance trustworthiness of the study, data triangulation, methodological triangulation, and member checking were applied. Appreciative inquiry was the framework for this study. The results indicated that “Forest Fireproof Barrier Activity” was the main activity that best conveyed success story of the community. Participating in this activity led to the discovery that the Positive Core that brought about the success of the community were the leader’s role of a facilitator or connector who had personal characteristics as well as tasks characteristics that match with geosocial characteristics of the community. The overall results revealed that the factors that led to maturity and community development consisted of 1) A turning point that presented both strength and opportunity to the community, 2) Effective communication, 3) Ethnic identity, 4) Participation in networking activity 5) Leadership development, 6) Community development, and 7) Vision of to be self-sufficient and sustainable development community. The Sustainable Community Development Conceptual Model was developed based on the results of Participatory Action Research (PAR) incorporation with Lewin's Change Model and Appreciative Inquiry. The results would be useful as guidance for development of succession planning with involvement of members of the community which can lead to sustainable community development.
