The aim of this paper is to check the relationship between HPWS and Commitment along with mediation effect of employee engagement. Survey approach was used and questionnaires were used to collect data. Questionnaire was adapted from Ang et al., (2013). There were 51 items in the questionnaire in which few questions were asked about demographics. All the items were measure on five-point Likert scale ranging from 1= strongly disagree, 2 disagree, 3= neutral, 4 = agree, 5 strongly agree. The results found that there is positive and significant relationship between all the variables. Also, it is found that mediator employee engagement is also acting as mediator between the HPWS and affective commitment. The data was collected from the four hospitals of KPK state so the findings of this paper are only generalizable to this one state only. Also, the data is collected from one method can n=be collected by interviews in future. This work is the extension of the work of the mode of HPWS, Commitment and employee engagement. Also, this is one of the limited studies conducted on health institutions.
