This study is aimed at exploring and understanding the threat perceptions among the investors and business managers due to the terrorist activities in Pakistan. This research further tries to comprehend that how do these threat perceptions inform and affects the business decisions and let-up the capital flight from the domestic economy. The study has relied upon qualitative methodology to understand the stated phenomenon and specifically used semi structured interviews along with field observation to collect the data. Thematic analysis has been used to analyse the filed data. The study found that threat perceptions due to terrorist activities are the major cause of capital flight and has adverse effect on business decisions. Theoretically, this study helps to understand the phenomenon within the local context and hence explores its new dimensions. Practically, the findings of study may be helpful to devise relevant policies and to stop capital flight.
