NGOs play an important role in development of rural and tribal India and their existence in tribal areas of Madhya Pradesh is no more a hidden reality. This study was conducted in January, 2006 in Jhabua district, one of the backward area of Madhya Pradesh. This article provides a brief about NGOs of Jhabua and their ground realities. Further, it also talks about structural scrutiny of two of the NGOs working in Jhabua while comparing their work culture.
