Description The days have come where entrepreneurship is acknowledged as an important driver of economic growth, productivity, innovation and employment. The woman is the key factor of women entrepreneurship as they have a burning desire for entrepreneurship development and now women have been recognized as successful entrepreneurs. This study was designed to assess the factors that affect the performance of women entrepreneurs in Micro and Small Enterprises. A sample of 415 women entrepreneurs was taken for the study using simple random sampling. After the data collection, it was analyzed using SPSS version 20 by applying factor analysis factors were extracted and then Linear Regression Analysis is conducted to find out the relationships between performance and motivational, individual and environmental factors. The results of the study indicate the circumstance of women entrepreneurs and their enterprise that affect their performance. It also shows that in-laws family income below one lakh, 3-10 years age of the enterprise, Technological environment, Economic environment, Individual talent, above five children were the key factors that affect the performance of women entrepreneurs in MSEs. Based on the major findings, recommendations were listed and forwarded to existing and potential entrepreneurs.
