Description In the field of Median and entertainment Industry digitalization in the recent changed the working and viewing pattern. The new era in the fields like television, music, Publishing and film industries gradually shifting to new technology. Television, movies, newspapers, magazines and other print forms were modified with the inventions of Phones and Tablets with advanced technology. Direct to Home (DTH) refers to the receiving satellite signals on a TV with individual dish in a home. DTH is famous for both analog and digital transmission services, which includes visual and audio signal. This paper describes the development of DTH services, Need and demand for the DTH and also explains the customer preference and satisfaction on DTH services in Tiruchirappalli District.
