Description Working in a safe working condition is one of the important requirements for every female employee. There are numerous challenges which are faced by working women at a workplace on all the positional levels. Women faces the challenges in terms of insecurity which is generally related to kind of output required which they are not able to deliver due to diverse commitments towards family and society. Though significant strides have been made toward securing equal rights for women in the workplace, women continue to face discrimination and gender stereotyping on the job. Additionally, women are paid less than men for the same or comparable work. The paper will be based on both primary and secondary data. The purpose of this research was to explore the perception of female employees towards compensation management practices prevailing in the software industry .This research adopted a quantitative methodology and administered a survey to understand how the employees perceive the different compensation management practices and their importance in the organization. Descriptive statistics like percentage is used for comparative study of compensation management practices of sample companies.
