Description Educational institutions worldwide are usingknowledge management and innovation process to bettermanage their knowledge and help teachers to improveperformance. Teachers need to be support to takeresponsibility, cooperative, and share what they know andlearn. This study aimed to emphasize the need for knowledgemanagement and innovation in schools with focus on teachers’perception, and highlight the significant role of knowledgemanagement (KM) in improving the performance ofeducational institutions. Survey questionnaire was distributedto a sample of 60 teachers in secondary schools in NorthCyprus. The data analyse methods include descriptive statistic,means comparison, Likert scales, regression analysis, andCronbach’s alpha. It was determined that KM has some valueto bring innovation, and direct effect in improving schools’performance. Based on the findings, we propose relevantsuggestions for implementing KM in educational institutions.
