Description |
Economic prosperity and political stability are non negotiable matters for countries in the international arena, and solutions to problems hindering them are sought through regional, continental and international cooperation. These are firmly fixed in the foreign policy of nations – an instrument used to seek optimum advantage for the country implementing the policy. However there is always an objective to be achieved no matter how long it takes to achieve it. This is the essence of bilateral relations. This paper explores and evaluates the evolution, development and mutual impact of relations between Nigeria and China in a holistic manner. It places in context the state of the relations, major beneficiary of the fraternity and how the relations can be improved upon to achieve optimum advantages.
