Description Relatively large is the proportion of women claiming they can not assess the risks of developing cervical cancer. The education and age of respondents have the greatest impact on their knowledge of the risks of developing cervical cancer. Nearly a quarter of respondents have no clear idea of how they can protect themselves from developing cervical cancer. Most of the participants in the study think that they would best prevent the development of endometrial carcinoma by performing regular prophylactic examinations. Raising the education of respondents has a bearing on their knowledge of the subject, ie. with increasing numbers of women who do not have an opinion on how to protect themselves from cervical cancer is decreasing.
