Summary, etc. |
The research objective of the project is to evaluate the competitiveness of export wood products in Binh Dinh province through the DRC / SER index. With 2 groups of furniture products selected for study are: indoor and outdoor. The article explored the expert opinion to select 4 products in each product group, which were produced by the export wood processing enterprises in Binh Dinh province. Research results show that the DRC/SER index of the products in two groups of indoor and outdoor are less than 1. It shows that Binh Dinh's export wood products have competitive advantages in the international market. Especially, the wooden furniture group has a smaller DRC/SER index than the outdoor furniture group.
Therefore, the group of wooden furniture of Binh Dinh has an international competitive advantage over the group of outdoor furniture. This result is an important basis for local authorities, credit organizations, wood processing associations in Binh Dinh province as well as individual export wood processing enterprises in Binh Dinh province to have suitable policies. From there, it will contribute to increase the competitiveness of furniture export in Binh Dinh province in the future.
