The present paper highlights some important CSR initiatives undertaken by top Indian Oil Companies especially Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd, GAIL India Ltd and helps to analyze their contribution to the social development of the country.
