Countless studies have been conducted examining the effects of job satisfaction on important workplace attitudes and behaviors of employees. It is said satisfied employee is a productive employee. There have been an equal number of studies concerning the effects of leadership style on employee behaviors, and numerous attempts to correlate the two from various sides and angles. Job satisfaction level can be judge on various parameters. It is leadership, supervision, compensation, recognition,employee’s role,work climate,team work,job security,job content,technology suggestions,training and development,company image,facilities,advancement opportunities,role clarity,performance appraisel system,employee’s suggestion. However, the results of these past studies are somewhat inconsistent, so the focus of this paper is to provide a review and investigation of past research findings with the goal of shedding some light on the relationship between these variables in today's workplace with special reference to IT sectors. The most common technique for measurement of job satisfaction is the use of rating scales where employees reporttheir thoughts and reactions to their jobs
