| Description |
The essay aims to assess the use of scientific databases and bibliographic collections in the 10 member universities of the CNU of Nicaragua in the 2016 period. It is a descriptive study of the progress of libraries in the organizational form of the consortium. All the universities have entered to use a wide range of library services for the academic and research function, however, more efforts are still required to enhance the available services and collections.
El ensayo pretende valorar el uso de las bases de datos científicos y acervos bibliográficos en las 10 universidades miembros del CNU de Nicaragua en el periodo 2016. Es un estudio de carácter descriptivo del avance de las bibliotecas en la forma organizacional de consorcio. Todas las universidades han entrado a utilizar una gama amplia de servicios bibliotecarios para con la función académica e investigativa, sin embargo aún se requiere realizar mayores esfuerzos para potenciar los servicios y los acervos disponibles |
