Description Recently, as business has become increasingly competitive, the result is that companies are faced with the challenge of remaining in business. Because of that, companies must be able to compete and one tool that can be used by a company is compensation.
If compensation programs are felt to be fair and competitive by the employees, the company will find it easier to attract high potential employees as well as maintain and motivate them to higher performance so that productivity will increase and the company is able to produce with a competitive price. In the end, the company will not only be competitive, but also able to remain in business and even increase profitability and develop the business further.


Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia :

Dewasa ini, dengan semakin ketatnya tingkat persaingan bisnis, mengakibatkan perusahaan dihadapkan pada tantangan untuk dapat mempertahankan kelangsungan hidup. Oleh karena itu perusahaan harus mampu bersaing dan salah satu alat yang dapat digunakan oleh perusahaan adalah kompensasi.
Jika program kompensasi dirasakan adil dan kompetitif oleh karyawan, maka perusahaan akan lebih mudah untuk menarik karyawan yang potensial, mempertahankannya dan memotivasi karyawan agar lebih meningkatkan kinerjanya, sehingga produktivitas meningkat dan perusahaan mampu menghasilkan produk dengan harga yang kompetitif. Pada akhirnya, perusahaan bukan hanya unggul dalam persaingan, namun juga mampu mempertahankan kelangsungan hidupnya, bahkan mampu meningkatkan profitabilitas dan mengembangkan usahanya.
