Description Financial Inclusion has been the aim of economies and, India has a vast population excluded from banking and other financial services due to the affordability factor. Digitization has provided a good platform for making these services available to the masses. Developing economies like India are now thriving upon digital technology to include their unbanked populace into the banking system. Mobiles and laptops have given a fillip to many financial inclusion initiatives worldwide by governments. With new and evolving technologies like app banking, mobile wallets etc. more and more people are accessing and using financial services. This paper discusses about the impact of digital technology over financial inclusion with respect to the Indian economy.
