Description The objective of this study is to determinethe influence of remuneration package and promotionopportunity on job satisfaction among lecturers infour public universities in Kelantan, Malaysia.Sample was selected through systematic randomprocedure and data was collected using selfadministeredquestionnaires from 320 samples. Datawas analysed using descriptive analysis to describedemographic profile of respondents and PearsonProduct Moment Correlation to test the relationshipbetween variables. The result indicated that therewere positive significant relationships betweenremuneration package and promotion opportunity,on job satisfaction. Organization should considerthese variables in promoting satisfaction amongemployees in order to enhance organizationalcitizenship.
