Subject and purpose of work: Conceptions, concepts and categories of the new institutional economic theory which founder O. Williamson was awarded the Nobel Prize in economics in 2009 are presented. The aim of the work is presenting the method of quantitative analysis and forecasting which has been worked out for application in students’ scientific papers.Materials and methods: Theoretical concepts and methods of the efficiency assessment used in neoclassical and institutional economy presented in the economic literature are the materials for the critical assessment in the paper.Results: The article reveals new methods of planning and forecasting of possible consequences from implementation of institutional projects which can be used while making decisions on the necessity of their introduction. Possibilities of combining sociological and economic tools of the analysis for studying the object of institutional character by researchers-beginners have been considered.Conclusions: The assessment of institutional efficiency and elasticity with the use of institutional theories requires the development of adequate techniques and quantitative tools and measures.
Przedmiot i cel pracy: W niniejszej pracy przedstawione zostały koncepcje, pojęcia i kategorie teorii nowego instytucjonalizmu, której twórca O. Williamson otrzymał Nagrodę Nobla w dziedzinie ekonomii w 2009 roku. Celem niniejszej pracy jest zaprezentowanie metod analizy ilościowej i prognozowania, które zostały opracowane do stosowania w artykułach naukowych studentów.Materiały i metody: Pojęcia i metody oceny sprawności stosowane w ekonomii neoklasycznej i instytucjonalizmie, przedstawione w literaturze ekonomicznej, są materiałami wykorzystanymi do oceny krytycznej w niniejszym artykule.Wyniki: Artykuł ujawnia nowe metody planowania i prognozowania ewentualnych konsekwencji wynikających z wdrażania projektów instytucjonalnych, które mogą być wykorzystywane przy podejmowaniu decyzji dotyczących konieczności ich wprowadzenia. Rozważono także możliwości łączenia socjologicznych i ekonomicznych narzędzi analizy w celu zbadania obiektów o charakterze instytucjonalnym przez początkujących badaczy.Wnioski: Ocena skuteczności instytucjonalnej oraz elastyczności z wykorzystaniem teorii instytucjonalnych wymaga rozwoju odpowiednich technik, środków i narzędzi ilościowych. |
