The author of this article attempts to describe a man enslaved by a political system on the basis of Night Patrol by Mikhail Kuraev. The author describes Polubolotov’s professional duties and the people he met in his nearly 40-year-long career as an agent of NKVD. It is clearly emphasised that the main character’s attitude towards his duties and prisoners is a reflection of his limitless belief in the communist propaganda, which makes him a weak-willed and enslaved executor of the orders of other people. The author points out that the form of monologue chosen by the writer gives the story the quality of an intimate confession.
W przedstawionym artykule autor na podstawie opowiadania M. Kurajewa „Nocna warta” podejmuje próbę opisania człowieka zniewolonego przez system polityczny. Opisuje obowiązki Połubołotowa, a także przedstawia ludzi, z którymi bohater zetkną się w okresie prawie 40 lat służby w strukturach NKWD. Wyraźnie podkreśla, że stosunek bohatera do wykonywanych zadań i spotykanych więźniów jest odzwierciedleniem jego bezgranicznej wiary w komunistyczną propagandę, która czyni z niego bezwolnego i zniewolonego wykonawcę cudzych rozkazów. Zwraca także uwagę na wykorzystaną przez pisarza formę monologu, która sprawia, że utwór stanowi rodzaj intymnego wyznania. |
