Organisational cynicism is a negative attitude towards one's employing organization. Research has been conducted to identify the organizational cynicism’s effect on work performance. The data was collected through a questionnaire which was implemented face to face with the academic and administrative staff at a Public University’s Vocational Colleges. 116 academic staff and 68 administrative personnel participated in the survey. The organisational cynicism displayed by the academicians and the administrative personnel has been examined consistently with the literature with respect to the dimensions of cognition, emotional response and behaviour. It has been observed that the factors of organisational cynicism have no impact on work performance which shows a single dimensional structure.
Örgütsel sinizm, bir bireyin çalıştığı örgüte karşı olumsuz tutuma sahip olmasıdır. Örgütsel sinizmin iş performansı üzerindeki etkisini tespit etmek amacıyla bir araştırma yapılmıştır. Araştırmada veriler, bir kamu üniversitesindeki Meslek Yüksekokullarının akademik ve idari personeline yüz-yüze anket tekniği kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Araştırmaya 116 akademik, 68 idari personel katılmıştır. Akademik ve idari personelin örgütsel sinizmleri, literatürle uyumlu olacak şekilde biliş, duygusal tepki ve davranış boyutlarında incelenmektedir. Tek boyutlu bir yapı gösteren iş performansı üzerinde örgütsel sinizm faktörlerinin etkili olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. |
