Description |
This paper examines, in a national perspective, the extent to which the "typical" unemployment cycle and its duration differ for non-whites. Drawing on annual data from 1950 to 1982, the study attempts to show how the burden of unemployment shifts from whites to blacks and vice-versa over the course of the business cycle.
