Description The main purpose of this study is to identify theentrepreneurial spirits among Bumiputera youth in Malaysia.The researchers intend to develop an index measuringBumiputera youth’s intention to become born-global. Theindex is known as Young Entrepreneurs Global PropensityIndex or YES@GPI. YES@GPI index is a yardstick inidentifying, grooming and assessing essential characteristicsamong Bumiputera youth to become global entrepreneursafter establishing their business. Bumiputera youth wereselected to participate in this study. A survey methodology wasemployed in which questionnaire instruments were distributedto the respondents. A total of 202 questionnaires weredistributed. The respondents answered the variable whichmeasures on personality traits, entrepreneurial orientation,motivation, hierarchy of needs, business environment andintention to go into global business. The data gathered wereanalyzed using SPSS. The results revealed that the relationshipwas almost moderate, except with BEV which showed a weakrelationship.
