Description Nonverbal communication covers all communication that transcends the use of language. It is an inseparable part of the communication process and gains importance from the tremendous quantity of informational cues it possesses. Because business often involves frequent human interaction, understanding the elements of nonverbal communication can be an enormous benefit in terms of working with colleagues, competitors, clients and potential clients. Nonverbal communication can help demonstrate confidence, enthusiasm and professionalism through attire choice, active listening cues and the ability to present a message. The aim of this research is to identify the criteria that successful business people must have in order to win a contract or sale and how they can modify and hide their real emotions or reactions in an unpleasant or contradictory situation by different gestures of nonverbal communication. The body language represents the best instrument for winning a sale, getting a contract or successfully dealing with clients in a business world.
