Description |
Ethics must be considered when examining decision making practices of leaders. The authors suggest that escalation of commitment in decision making is influenced by the ethical framework that leaders consistently draw on. In doing so, this paper explores nine different decision making frameworks and applies them to characters from the popular television show Game of Thrones. Suggestions are then made regarding how these fictional examples might be applied to management education, to real-world business managers, and for future research. Keywords: business ethics, decision making, popular culture
