Description In this study, the author aims to present the climate through indices of extreme impact in a specific tourist center, which not only assess the human discomfort, but the state endangering his health and life during the cold part of the year. To achieve this goal, two indexes have been dealt with - the Arnolds' "sourness of time" and the Silep and Passell wind chill index. Data from the stations - Belogradchik, Bansko, Chepelare, Raikovo / Smolyan / Snezhanka and Gabrovo / for the 1980s were processed as an example of the implementation of the indexes. Data are taken from the NIMH reference books and yearbooks.
