Description In this research we investigate the Iranian business space using introduced indicators by Islamic Council Parliament Research Center and compare them in summer 2011 till summer 2012 as well as surveying market and nonmarket determinant factors on our business space. We find that these business space indicators are not in favorable situation and one of the most important difficulties comes back to intuitional deficiency as there are many official and nonofficial institutions which intervene in Iranian economic that lead to crudity in markets as well as some others which try to make barriers against new firms to do business despite of trying to have true competition. Also this research results show that Iranian market’s competitiveness is in low level and there is no relevant space to improve competition. So it’s necessary to do more effort in applying chapter nine of principle number 44 of constitution by competition council as it is proper paradigm to advancing competition in Iranian economy.
