The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of meritocracy of employees on organizational innovation. The statistical population of this study includes 150 employees of Emersan Company. A sample of 108 employees was selected randomly. The sample size was determined through sampling formula. In order to collect the research data, two researcher-developed questionnaires were used including employees’ meritocracy and organizational innovation questionnaires. In order to examine validity of the questionnaire, its face validity was focused. The reliability of questionnaire was examined through Cronbachs’ Alpha Coefficient. In order to analyze the research data and test the hypotheses, Pearson correlation coefficient was used in the SPSS18 and structural equation modeling was used in Amos18. The results of this study revealed that there is a significant positive relationship between of employees’ meritocracy and components of organizational innovation. In other words, meritocracy of employees influences organizational innovation and its components.
