Description The Real Spanish Academy defines Apathy as passivity, and lack of intetest and will, and it is integrated by Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and Psychological Quitting; objectives of this study are to identify causes associated to Apathy that mexican workers show at an organizational context and to test an OCB model, researchers conducted a quantitative study so as to determine if Job Satisfation is an antecedent of OCB and if Job Psychological Quitting and Emotional Well-Being are consequences of OCB, by means of a sample of 227 employees that work at six different organizations. Researchers collected data by standarized surveys and analyzed data by LISREL’s structural equations modeling. Results validate the theoretical model; therefore satisfied workers respond favorably as good co-workers, and as a consequence do not avoid work and report a higher level of health and well-being.In order to test an Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) model, a quantitative study was carried out so as to determine if Job Satisfation is an antecedent and if Job Withdrawal and Emotional Well-Being are consequences of OCB, by means of a sample of 227 employees that work at six different organizations. Data was collected by standarized surveys an analyzed by LISREL’s structural equations modeling. Results validate the theoretical model; therefore satisfied workers respond favorably as good co-workers, and as a consequence do not avoid work and report a higher level of health and well-being.
