Description This research represents a case study at industrial companies of Al Hassan Industrial Zone at Irbidarea in northern Jordan and aims atconstructing a tool to measure the gap between the role of higher strategicmanagement and the role of line management, then,applying the constructed tool to recognize the obstacles(integrating gaps) between these two roles which expected to eliminate obstacles and foster advantages(more roles integration).Allocated questionnaire is constructed dependingon strategic literature, judgedbyfive academics of Jordanian universities, developed accordingly, and then allocated by e-mail to 101 strategicmanagers in upper level and to the same number of line managers/supervisors from which 180 were retrieved(89%) and found available for analysis.Measurement tool (final questionnaire) was developed using factoranalysis, thenapplied in sample’s companies. Results disclosed moderate participation from both higher levelmanagers in following up execution of lower level plans, and from line management in preparing strategicplans. Results reveal that the participation of these two managerial levels are in need of more reinforcementtoachieve strategic goals effectively and efficiently.Keywords: Al Hassan industrial zone, Higherstrategic management, Line management, Integration
