Several articles have been written on leadership in organizations and theorists and scholars of management have introduced different point of views. On the other hand, E-leadership in virtual organizations and its special necessities which this kind of leadership encounters in the world of electronic has been less dealt with. As an example, intense competition and unstable and fickle condition of business makes companies be compatible with the innovations of leadership and knowing E-leadership in particular. So, understanding concepts, functions, necessities, point of views, theories of the E-leadership and a comparative comparison with the bases of traditional leadership, are considered to be the most important parts. So the following article with the aim of explaining these concepts has a short review on concepts, point of views and theories of leadership and applies a comparative comparison between the concepts of leadership and management and the concepts of E-leadership and its necessities. Also, the article explains the concept of potential in E-leadership, expected features and capabilities of E-business leaders, patterns of E-leadership and introduces a pattern for E-leadership development.
