Description The aim of the study is to examine the HR policy in Radisson Jass Hotel, Shimla. The sample size is 55 consisting of five Head of Departments (HOD) and fifty staff personnel. A structured questionnaire was used to collect the information. To conclude, the hotel has a well defined Human Resource policy for every aspect of Human Resource Development. These policies are framed to ensure: Safe, Healthy and Happy Workplace, Open Book Management Style, 360-Degree Performance Management Feedback System, Fair Evaluation System for Employees, Knowledge Sharing. HRM department shall from time to time identify training courses, seek funding, and identify staff to attend such courses, which shall include exchange visits to relevant successful hotels and their departments. HR department should also encourage staff to pursue further training on their own, which it could also support whenever there are funds available.
