This study reviewed the subject of the urban allocation of land, and mainly drew from two major works: Vernon (1960) and Vreeker, de Groot, and Verhoef (2007). The two major works were analyzed along with other relevant issues such as urban multifunctional land use, clustering of firms, and empirical implications.
